Dr. Ferrante is a double-Board Certified Podiatric Physician in private practice since 1989. He is a Diplomat of both the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and the American Board of Podiatric Medicine.
After receiving a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine, New York, N.Y., he began his internship and clinical training at the Foot Clinics of New York in New York City.
Dr. Ferrante completed two years of postdoctoral training as a Resident Podiatric Physician at the Veterans Affairs New England Healthcare System in Boston, Massachusetts. Training locations included West Roxbury and Brockton Veterans Administration Medical Centers, Massachusetts General Hospital, and Deaconess Medical Center of Boston. He also spent 1 year successfully creating and completing a Podiatric Surgical Residency Program at Thompson Memorial Medical Center in Burbank, California.
Dr. Ferrante is a Member of the California Podiatric Medical Association and the American Podiatric Medical Association. He has hospital privileges at Huntington Hospital, Pasadena, CA, and Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center, Burbank, CA.
Dr. Ferrante’s subspecialty is the evaluation and treatment of foot pathomechanics and the use of custom arch supports (orthotics) for all ages.
